Internship, Barbaro, and Bits of Information Probably Not Usable or of Interest to the General Public...

Recently I've been looking for ranches for my internship. I've checked out some in Idaho and Wisconsin, but nothing seems to really stick out to me so far...

Some interesting things to read about pedal osteitis and laminitis on this site...

Acquired a lot of information for term papers and such from that site.

Barbaro Update:

"Kentucky Derby winner Barbaro's right hind leg cast was removed today (Nov. 6), according to his medical team. "Barbaro was placed under general anesthesia for the cast removal," said Dean W. Richardson, DVM, Dipl. ACVS, chief of surgery. 'In addition, his foot was trimmed and a new shoe glued on. A padded bandage with plastic and fiberglass splints was placed on his lower limb for support.'"
